Duties: * Receives items by accepting deliveries; unpacking containers. * Verifies items received by inspecting condition of items; comparing count/measure of items to purchase order and packing list; noting discrepancies. * Documents items received by recording identifying information. * Prepares shipments by assembling, packing, protecting, and labeling containers. * Answers income phone calls and interact with vendors; * Assists in the preparation of purchase orders, invoices, and packing lists. * Monitors the status of shipments and coordinates suppliers. * Performs various administrative duties.
Skills/Qualifications: * Experience with international shipping and receiving. * Packaging experience. * Minimum academic qualification is a high school diploma. Bachelor's degree will have a greater advantage. * Sufficient knowledge of a range of Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel. * Familiarity with inventory software. * Must have organizational skills. * Must speak English and Spanish.
